Nexperia acquires NWF, the largest chip manufacturer in the UK!

 On July 3, it was reported that Wingtech’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Anshi Semiconductor, planned to acquire the largest British chip manufacturer NWF (Newport Wafer Fab) for 63 million pounds (approximately US$87 million). Affected by this, Wingtech Technology opened high on Monday (July 5) and rose 9.48%. The stock price closed at 100.95 yuan, the market value increased by 10.9 billion, and the latest market value was 125.7 billion yuan.

Wingtech: Nexperia will hold 100% equity of NWF through NEPTUNE

On the evening of July 5th, Wingtech Technology issued an announcement. Recently, there were media reports that Wingtech’s subsidiary Wingtech Semiconductor will acquire British wafer manufacturer Newport Wafer Fab ("NWF").

The company now explains the main situation as follows:

On July 5, 2021, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Anshi Semiconductor and NWF parent company NEPTUNE 6LIMITED (referred to as "NEPTUNE") and its shareholders signed a relevant acquisition agreement. After the completion of this transaction, Anshi Semiconductor will hold 100% equity of NEPTUNE and hold 100% equity of NWF through NEPTUNE.

At the end of the 2020 fiscal year, the target company has total assets of 44,707,600 pounds and net assets of -5,177,300 pounds. In fiscal year 2020, it will realize operating income of 30,911,000 pounds and net profit of -18,611,000 pounds.














































Affected by this, Wingtech Technology opened high on Monday (July 5) and rose 9.48%. The stock price closed at 100.95 yuan, the market value increased by 10.9 billion, and the latest market value was 125.7 billion yuan.
